Here below you'll see just a few examples of the several pictures we took to the artistic sites in our villages (churches and villas, mainly).

They were the preliminary step for the work on art related to the Comenius project we will be developing in the next months.

Let's start with images from CERNEGLONS, a small village near Udine.

TOPPO-FLORIO VILLA

The villa is placed  at the foot of Monte di Buttrio, was built in 1700 by the Toppo family and then it belonged to the Florio family, who donated it to the State in 1947. The mansion stands in front of a large park rich in arboreal essence and ancient Roman relics coming from Aquileia.

CHURCH-STEEPLE

Stony church-steeple with needle, 60-meter tall and inspired by the church-steeple of S. Marco in Venice. Quite original is the clock whose digits are overturned.

S. STEFANO CHURCH

Little votive church built around mid-14th century. In comparison with other churches of the area, this church has not been modified and has maintained its original appearance.
