Photo Competition
The Photo contest was held in winter. The topic was: WE - Young People - Different Cultures - One Europe.
All the students at our schools were invited to participate in the photo contest and every students could vote for their favorite photo. They received a card on which they wrote the number of the photo that they considered the best.
The winners of the contest were declared on 1 March 2014.
The dimension of the photos had to be 20 cm by 30 cm.
All the photos were on display in each school’s main hall from 20 January until 28 February.
The best two photos from each participant school have competed for best Comenius project photo at the final teacher-student workshop in Udine, Italy, 7 – 12 April 2014,where a student jury decided on the final winner.
The jury applied the following criteria to selecting the best photo:
Content (how well has the photo captured the topic of the project and the theme of the competition)
Structure (how well has the placing of motives in the picture, the use of space in the photo)
Colours (how good is the choice of light, shadows, contrasts, etc)
Creativity (how much creativity has the student shown in dealing with content, structure and colours).
The photo was an original piece of work of the participant.
The participants have could edit their photo by help of the programs Instagram or Paint or another one similar.
